IPDC People’s Choice Award Voting Now Open

2007 People's Choice Award Winner
2007 People’s Choice Award Winner

Get out the vote! Go online now and view the candidate products in the first International Plastics Design Competition (IPDC) and vote for the winner in the “People’s Choice” category — an award selected entirely by the public. Winners in all categories will be announced during the NPE2009 international plastics exposition, held June 22-26, 2009 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

While Chicago is certainly known for its “colorful” political history, the only “machine” involved in the “People’s Choice” voting is your computer. Visitors to the IPDC website can view photos and information on candidate products by clicking on “View Entries” and can cast their People’s Choice vote by clicking on “Vote Now.” (The system permits only one vote per site visitor.)

Judging in all other categories will take place during NPE2009, when the products will be on display in the IPDC pavilion in the McCormick West building (Booth W123000).

Award winners will be announced at a ceremony on the evening of Wednesday, June 24, the third day of NPE2009. Contact Patti Gillespie for tickets or more information at 1-847-506-6409.

SPI’s Alliance for Plastics Processors (APP) sponsors the IPDC. The APP is the successor to SPI’s Structural Plastics Division and for 35 years has sponsored a design competition renowned in North America as a showplace for innovative plastic products. Take a look at some of the past winners.
